Genus Anabelcia Behounek & Kononenko, 2012
Zootaxa 3590: 2. Type species: Belciana kala Prout, 1924 , Bulletin of the Hill Museum , Witley , 1: 442. Sumatra , Barisan Range, Mt. Korintji .
The genus Anabelcia was erected ( Behounek & Kononenko, 2012a) for six East Asian species: A. kala ( Prout, 1924 ), A. nepalensis ( Haruta, 1993) , A. siitanae ( Remm, 1983) , A. staudingeri ( Leech, 1900) , A. taiwana Behounek & Kononenko, 2012 and A. thai Behounek & Kononenko, 2012 . Among them, the last species was described from Thailand from a series of three females. After the description of Anabelcia the authors examined extensive additional material from Thailand and other parts of the Oriental Region. The male of A. thai was found in the collection of Mr. Armin Becher from West Thailand (Prov. Sakhon Nakhon). Because the species of Anabelcia are difficult to differentiate, we present diagnostic features and illustration of the male genitalia of A. thai .
