Material studied. 2 ♂♂, Guatemala, Tikal-Petén , 24.02. – 03.03.1978, leg. A. de Chambrier (cPJ, MHNG) .

Remarks This species was described on the basis of four specimens collected in southern Mexico (Campeche). Here it is for the first time recorded to occur in Guatemala.
