Type information: Holotype M, TURKEY: Mersin: “Gozna” (Gözne), Cilic. Taurus, 1895 (M. Holtz) ( ZMB).
Material examined: TURKEY: Mersin: Holotype; Elazig: 1M, 1F, Sivrice , 9.6.1951 (in DZ with unknown collector).
Distribution: This species is known from Southern Taurus in the Mersin Province. Although there is a record of the species from the Elazıg province in Eastern Anatolia, this may be due to mislabelling. The genus Eupholidoptera has not been recorded from this region and. this is also evident by the recent studies in this district ( Ciplak et al. 1996; Erman & Salman 1992).
