Hosts. Cicadellidae ( Guglielmino et al. 2013) : in South Africa: Colistra sp.; in Namibia: Aconurella compta (Naudé) . About Agallia cuneata Cogan (= Austroagallia cuneata (Cogan)) , considered by mistake host of G. maritimus by Olmi (2007b) and Guglielmino & Olmi (2007), see remarks.

Distribution. Namibia, South Africa.

Remarks. The following three ♀ paratypes were attributed by mistake to G. maritimus : ( Guglielmino & Olmi 2007; Olmi 2007b): NAMIBIA: 27.6 km S Omaruru, along Rd C 33, C. 8.III.2006, B. 12.III.2006, Sf. 12.IV.2006, reared from a nymph of Austroagallia cuneata (Cogan) , M. Olmi leg., 23 A, 1♀ paratype (MOLC); 27.6 Km S Omaruru, along Rd C 33, C. 8.III.2006, B. 13.III.2006, Sf. 12.IV.2006, reared from a nymph of Austroagallia cuneata (Cogan) , M. Olmi leg., 23 B, 1♀ paratype (SMWN); 27.6 km S Omaruru, along Rd C 33, C. 8.III.2006, B. 11.III.2006, Sf. 12.IV.2006, reared from a nymph of Austroagallia cuneata (Cogan) , M. Olmi leg., 23 C, 1♀ paratype (MOLC). The above three specimens are now attributed to G. okahandjae Olmi (see Material examined for this species).
