TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: of P. mica: Oued Bouzaréah Valley , Alger, Algeria, from soil of Laurus nobilis [Plantae: Lauraceae ] forest; of P. primitivus: Versuchsfeld der BZA (Biologischen Zentralanstalt Akademie), Teltow, Germany, in pasture soil.

NOTE: Karg (2007: 116) considered P. primitivus to be distinct from P. mica . We adopted the interpretation of Evans (1982: 306) and Halliday et al (1998: 40), considering them to be conspecific.
