Area of occurrence: From eastern Sierra Leone in the West to south-western Cameroon in the East. Other potential members: SchiØtz (1967) commented on the resemblance of colour patterns of H. viridigulosus SchiØtz, 1967 to H. chlorosteus and H. laurenti .
