Volinus sticticus (Panzer, 1798)

Material examined. KOSOVO: Priština env., Čaglavica, 8.vii.1978, D. Král leg. (2 spec. in DKCP).

Distribution. West Palaearctic species widely distributed from the Iberian Peninsula to the the European part of Russia, Turkey and Iran; for the Balkan Peninsula recorded from Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia (cf. e.g. Balthasar 1964; Baraud 1992, Brelih et al. 2010; Bunalski 2001, Dellacasa and Dellacasa 2006; Mikšić 1970). First record from Kosovo.
