Examined material. 2 sh. (MACN-In 40688).
Description. Shell height to 8.6 mm (up to 50 mm according to Pastorino 2005a); fusiform, solid. Protoconch of 1.75 slightly convex whorls. Teleoconch of up to 2.5 whorls, markedly convex in outline, with a slightly concave shoulder; last whorl comprising about 75% of total shell height. Suture impressed. Surface white; sculptured with 10 strong, high lamellae per whorl. Aperture ovate, interior white; columellar callus thick; siphonal canal long, somewhat oblique, moderately wide.
