Material examined. None, entry based on literature.
Identification. Test small, low hemispherical; denuded test white to creamish. Spines relatively short, somewhat serrated, also cream to white in color.
Global maximum size. Maximum diameter 15 mm.
Global distribution. Endemic to South Africa, at 500 m depth ( Döderlein 1910; Clark & Courtman-Stock 1976; Schultz 2011).
Remarks. Single record off South coast region of South Africa ( Clark & Courtman-Stock 1976). Not represented in the Iziko Museum collection.
