Not Phasianella kochi: Viader 1937: 54 [?= Phasianella solida Born, 1878 ].

Distribution. Southern Mozambique (Inhambane) to Cape Agulhas; intertidal and shallow subtidal. Notes. Records from the Mascarene Islands and Australia were based on misidentified material ( Robertson 1985).
