Male imago. Length: body 3.6 mm, forewing 3.3 mm. Cerci broken. General coloration brown. Head colouration yellowish with brown marks. Antennae whitish washed with brown. Turbinate eye with dorsal portion reddish-brown, basal half of stalk dark-brown ( Figs. 6–8 ).

Thorax brown, slightly washed with red. Legs yellowish white with brown mark on apex of femur I ( Figs. 6–8 ). Leg I: tibia 2.0× length of femur, tarsi 2.5× length of femur and with segments decreasing in length apically. Legs II: tibia 1.2 x length of femur, tarsi 0.3× length of femur. Legs III: tibia 1.1× length of femur, tarsi 0.6× length of femur. Wing membrane hyaline; veins brown ( Fig. 9 ).

Abdominal terga and sterna I–VI translucent, slightly washed with red; segments VII–X brown, slightly washed with red; terga VI and VII with red marks ( Figs. 6–8 ).

Material examined. 1 male imago (reared), 10 nymphs: BRAZIL, Amazonas , Manaus, BR 174 , Igarapé do Km 18, 02°49'S / 60°02'W, 21.i.2010, F.F. Salles, R. Boldrini, P. V. Cruz . 2 male imagos, 5 nymphs: BRAZIL, Amazonas , Manaus , Reserva Adolpho Ducke, Igarapé Barro Branco, 02°57'N / 59°57'W, 18.i.2007, J.N. Falcão and F.F. Salles .
