Material examined.

Holotype: male, Malaysia, Pahang distr., Cameron Highlands, by Kampung Kuala Boh vill., 4°27’9” N 101°34’8” E, 850-1050 m, 26.iii.-3.iv.2001, leg. K. Bucsek, coll. D. Nilsson; to be deposited in ZMUC. GoogleMaps

Paratypes: 2 males with same data as holotype, but one: coll. and genit. prep. 5668 M. Fibiger. Colls. MF, DN GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis.

Wingspan: 14– 6 mm.

Transverse lines: well marked, brown; basal, antemedial, and postmedial lines marked with a black spot by costa.

Reniform: distinct, elongated, black.

Hindwing: shortest in genus; dark brown.

Underside: unicolorous brown.

Abdomen: brown with black dorsal crest on first segment; male with long black to brown anal tufts.

Male genitalia.

Saccus: short and V-shaped.

Vinculum: short.

Tegumen: very long.

Fultura superior: fused with tegumen on left side by a small, sclerotised, pointed flap.

Tergite and sternite: indistinct.

Costa: a prominent thorn present basally.

Sacculus: with short cone-like processes, apically heavily sclerotised.

Ampulla: slightly asymmetrical, kidney-shaped, apically smoothly rounded.

Pollex : left one thumb-like; right one ½ length of left one; both with long hair-like setae.

Digitus: long, narrow, bent, pointed apically.

Phallus: extremely long, broadest by ductus ejaculatorius, coiling clock-wise, bent 2/3 from base, slight tapering towards apex; coecum very long.

Differential diagnosis.

The male genitalia resemble those of T. orientis , T. alexmadseni , and T. conscitulana , but differ from them by the shorter, costal, spine-like process, the longer asymmetrical pollices, and the longer coecum.
