SYNONYM(S): Panacra confusa Walker, 1856b ; Aspledon dicanus Boisduval, 1875 ; Lophuron maculatum Rothschild, 1894 .

DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Abercorn [now Mbala], in Northern Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include a Metteniusaceae species, namely Apodytes dimidiata E.Mey. ex Arn. ( African Moths 2019) .
