Inde central (leg. Falconnet); Afrique tropicale, fleuve des Gazelles; Nouvelle Guinée; Iles de la Sonde. More than one ♀ .
One ♀ syntype with labels: “Indes centr., M H de Saussure” [handwritten on ruled white card]; “ Gryllus gracilipes Sauss. ” [handwritten on yellow paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings roughly folded; both antennae and the last tarsal segment of the right hind leg are lost. The left hind leg is detached and secured through the femur on the original pin. The whereabouts of the other syntypes is unknown. Box A11.
