Material examined. 2 ♂, Karmel , Haifa, 7.v.1930 (Amsel) ( SMNK) ; 1 ♀, Karmel , 7.ii.1981 (Wool) ex. Aploneura ( TAU) ; 2 ♂, Nahal Oren, Mt. Carmel , light trap 17.v.1997 (Pavlíček & Kravchenko) ; 1 ♂,ditto but 23.iv.1998 ; 1 ♂, ditto but 5.vii.1999 (all NMPC) .

Host plant. According to the label one specimen was bred from galls (?) of Aploneura sp. ( Hemiptera : Aphididae ).

Distribution. Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey ( Huemer & Karsholt 2001: 47), Israel.
