Holotype: 1 worker, UNITED STATES, Arizona: Vista Pt., 3.5 km SSW Portal , 31.88506 −109.17339 ± 1 km, 1560m, 13-Aug- 2003, nest under stone (J.L. Smith & E.M. Sarnat) [CASC, unique specimen identifier CASENT0638281] . PARATYPES: same data as holotype [worker: CASC, FMNH, DZUP, JTLC, LACM, MCZC, UCD, UNAM, USNM].

Geographic Range. United States (Arizona, New Mexico), Mexico
