9. Stillingia microsperma Pax & Hoffmann (1912: 187) View in CoL . Lectotype (here designated):— GUATEMALA. Santa Rosa: locality unknown, 1000 m, E. T. Heyde & E. Lux 4265 ( US 00096652!, isolectotypes US 00096653! [photo in MO!], G 00386173!, G 00414531!, GH 00048805!, K!). [= Stillingia zelayensis ( Kunth 1817: 65) Müller Argoviensis (1863: 87) ].
Stillingia microsperma was based on “ Tropisches Centralamerika: Guatemala, Santa Rosa, 1000 m (Heyde u. Lux no. 4265!)”. The herbarium was not mentioned. However, it is likely that it was deposited in B. No specimen of this collection is extant there. Therefore, the specimen US 00096652 was chosen as the lectotype, since it is consistent with the description in the protologue and well preserved.
