Stegana (Steganina) multiprocera Li & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 12A, 12B View FIGURE 12 , 53 View FIGURE 53 )

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) fuscipes sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 41 View FIGURE 41 , 53 View FIGURE 53 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the clypeus brown; the cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 53A View FIGURE 53 ); the basolateral processes of aedeagus not bifurcated distally ( Fig. 53C, D View FIGURE 53 ); the aedeagal sheath with some minute, serrated processes distally ( Fig. 53E, F View FIGURE 53 ).

Description. Male: First flagellomere black. Palpus yellow, brownish distally. Mesonotum brownish medially, brownish yellow laterally (Fig. 12A, B). Katepisternum brown (Fig. 12B). Scutellum brown, dark brown near distal margin ( Fig. 12A View FIGURE 12 ). Halter mostly yellow ( Fig. 12B View FIGURE 12 ). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly brown ( Fig. 12A, B View FIGURE 12 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 53 View FIGURE 53 ): Epandrium with ca. 11 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 53A View FIGURE 53 ). Surstylus with numerous minute, serrated processes on outer surface, 1 peg-like tooth and some setulae near distal margin ( Fig. 53A, B View FIGURE 53 ). Hypandrium slightly expanded anteromedially, with 2 spinous processes (pregonite?) ( Fig. 53C, D View FIGURE 53 ). Pregonite blurry or absent ( Fig. 53C, D View FIGURE 53 ). Aedeagus with 4 pairs of processes basolaterally and much pubescence distally ( Fig. 53C, D View FIGURE 53 ). Subepandrial sclerite slightly rectangle distally ( Fig. 53G View FIGURE 53 ).
