Distribution: Far East: Kuril Islands ( Uchida, 1936a).

Note: The species was originally assigned to the subgenus Hispidosperchon . However, the description of this species does not indicate the presence of a reticulated structure of the integument (the main feature of Hispidosperchon ). Accodring to the description of Uchida, the integument has fine ridges. So very likely, this species belongs to Sperchon s.s. Also, it is impossible to determine the sex of the material from the description, which makes its identification difficult.
