Figs. 1, 4, 7 View FIGURES 1–9. 1, 4, 7 , 26–29 View FIGURES 26–29 .

Description. Body length (including tegmina): ♂, 6.0 mm.

Ground color olive green to stramineous, densely covered with small black spots dorsally ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–9. 1, 4, 7 ). Pronotum and mesonotum with diffuse larger fuscous patches ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1–9. 1, 4, 7 ).

Male genitalia. Pygofer side ship-shaped in lateral aspect with apex acutely angled; with several macrosetae in apical half and finer setae near posteroventral margin ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 26–29 ). Subgenital plate nearly rectangular, with several long fine setae on lateral margin, apex obliquely truncate with inner margin shorter than outer margin. Style apex falcate ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 26–29 ). Aedeagus compressed, shaft slender in ventral aspect, apex slightly expanded and bilobed; shaft fish-shaped in lateral view, without spicules ( Figs 28–29 View FIGURES 26–29 ).

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA: Yunnan Province, Yuxi City, Ailao Mountain National Natural Reserve, 7. V. 2015, collected by Wang Jia-jia and Wu Yun-fei . Paratype: 1 ♂ CHINA: Yunnan Province, Yuxi City, Ailao Mountain National Natural Reserve, 7. V. 2015, collected by Wu Yun-fei .

Remarks. The new species is similar to S. compressus Dai, Zhang & Zhang , but can be distinguished by the evenly convex posteroventral margin of the pygofer, the more shallowly divided apex of the aedeagus in posterior view and lack of spicules on the shaft; and also by the more parallel-sided subgenital plates.

Etymology. The new species name is derived from the Latin words “ hamulus ”, refers to the hook-like style apex.

Distribution. China (Yunnan Province).
