Specimens examined. HOLOTYPE: male ( NSMT), Sai Yok (500 m), Kanchana Buri / 9–13.xii.1975 / H. Shima . PARATYPES: 1 male ( BLKU), BORNEO SABAH/ Papar , 50 km SW/ Kota Kinabalu / 13–15 xi 1975 / H. Shima leg. ; 1 male ( BLKU), THAILAND / Sai Yok 500m / Kanchana Buri / 27–29 Dec. 1975 /S. Shinonaga; 1 female ( BLKU), THAILAND / Sai Yok 500m / Kanchana Buri / 27–29.xii.1975 / H. Shima leg. ; 1 female ( BLKU), BORNEO SARAWAK / Santubong , 30 km / North of Kuching / 19–20.xi.1975 .
Additional specimens: 1 female ( BLKU), Indonesia, Java, Bogor Botanical Garden , 25.xi.2007, T. Tachi leg.
Diagnosis. Body length: 5.51–7.48 mm. Vertex 0.17–0.19 of head width in male, 0.22–0.28 in female; antenna with postpedicel 2.69–3.00 times as long as pedicel in male, 2.73–3.18 times in female; 2 katepisternal setae; male abdominal tergite 4 and 5 with dense recumbent hairs dorsally; male postabdomen with surstylus pointed apically in lateral view, tapering and slightly curved inward, near as long as cercus in dorsal view; cerci swollen nearly apex in dorsal view; pregonite rounded apically; female postabdomen not elongated.
Distribution. Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand.
Remarks. This species is newly recorded from Indonesia.
