Holotype ♂, REPUBLIC OF CONGO, Kivu, Katanda , 950m, 30.xi.1934, Mission G.F. de Witte, ( MRAC) . Seen in IRSNB, Cabinet No. 41, “Parc National Albert” Box . No. 1 by Knutson in 1978.

Other new records: KENYA: Karura For., Nairobi, 5500ft., 1♂ 1♀, 9-13.xii.1970, A.E. Stubbs ( NHMUK, LK det., genitalia examined).
