Comments. The species is characterized by two apical spines within long bristles and a single spine, inserted in the middle of inner side of gonostylus as well as a very short c (= ¼ w). The species belongs to the Sc. armata group.
Distribution. Holarctic. Central Asia ( Turkmenistan), USA (Arizona). New for North America.
