Sarju enigma Ghauri, 1977: 20–24 , figs. 78–84.
Type material: Holotype: ♀, Pakistan, Gilgit , 28.vi.1962, (C.I.B.C. Pakistan), on Malus pumilo , C.I. B. C. Fr-6/62- 141/761, ( BMNH), no paratypes.
Note. This is one of the species of Sarju (group IV species Ghauri, 1977) with the straight second antennal segment unlike the geniculate II antennal segment in other included species. This species is characterized by the broad and plough-shaped parameral crown, cup-shaped concavity on ventral rim of genital capsule and wide and truncate caudolateral lobes. Ghauri (1977) originally described this species from a single female and later on, Ahmad and Afzal (1984) redescribed it along with the illustration of both male and female genitalia. This is yet another species with type locality Gilgit in Pakistan, but, as per the new political map of India released by Survey of India ( Survey of India 2020), the region Gilgit is considered to be part of Ladakh and hence treated here as a species from India.
