Sabulina orthotrichoides (Schischkin) Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk View in CoL , comb. nov.
Basionym: Minuartia orthotrichoides Schischkin (1936: 886) View in CoL .
Type:— RUSSIA: Oriens Extremus. Ad ripam maris Glacialis ad sinum S. Laurentii. Leg. D. Eschscholtz, sine datum (holotype LE!).
Note:—The high-Arctic species was reported (sub Minuartia orthotrichoides ) from Arctic Siberia to Chukotka. In the European part of Russia it is indicated for Nova Zemblya (Novaya Zemlya) ( Schischkin 1936, Tzvelev 2004, 2012). It seems to be closely related to Sabulina rubella ( Wahlenberg 1812: 128) Dillenberger & Kadereit (2014: 87) which was described from Norway, differing from the latter by the absence of pubescence, low growth habit (1–2 cm tall), and usually solitary flowers.
