Specimens examined. Twenty five females and one male on Eucryphia cordifolia Cav. (Eucryphiaceae) View in CoL . Seven females and six males on Luma apiculata (DC.) Burret, "Arrayán" (Mirtaceae). Tinquilco Lake near Pucón ( Chile); 39º 10'09" S, 71º 43'33" W; 814 m asl (above sea level); 6 January 2013.
Comments. This species was previously known from Chile. Compared to the original description, specimens from Tinquilco Lake have the dorsal setae slightly shorter.
