Rasahus costaricensis Coscarón View in CoL & Maldonado, 1988

Coscarón & Maldonado (1988) described this species from Costa Rica, but did not explicitly describe the color pattern, providing only a gray habitus drawing. Therefore, a color figure of an adult and a nymph is provided here ( Figs. 51 View FIGURES 43 – 51 , 52 View FIGURES 52 – 60 ). From the specimens examined here it is evident that some variation in color intensity can occur, as some can be paler or darker. The specimens listed below are a new record from Colombia and also from continental South America. This species seems to be distributed widely in this country.

Material examined: COLOMBIA, 1Ψ, Antioquia, Valle de Medellín (en maíz), 1550 m, VI1945, L. Gallego [ MEFLG]; 1Ψ, Antioquia, Peñol (en hoja) [6°13'N 75°13'W], 2200 m, 25IV1989, R.
