Individuals of Raorchestes cangyuanensis ( Figure 1B View FIGURE 1 ) were collected from forested area in Hmuifang ( MZUHC 324 , MZUHC 325 ) and near human settlements in Aizawl city ( MZUHC 331 ). The samples from Mizoram, India formed a clade with the type specimens of R. cangyuanensis in the ML tree ( Figure 1C View FIGURE 1 ) with a genetic distance of only 0.6% ( Supplementary table 3), and represents the first record of this species in India. Sequences submitted to GenBank as R. longchuanensis from Longchuan, China (accession number GQ 285675 View Materials ); Satchari National Park , Bangladesh (accession numbers MH699074 View Materials , MN193412 View Materials , MN193413 View Materials , MN193414 View Materials ) and northeast India (location not specified, accession number MH 423740 View Materials ) also formed a clade with the type specimens of R. cangyuanensis and the newly generated sequences from Mizoram, India .
