Prozercon (Plumatozercon) umidicola sp. n.
(gure 1A, B)
Material examined
HOLOTYPE m. Turkey. Aydin, Kusadasi , 20 m altitude, 29 April 1998. Sample from litter and soil underlying Quercus sp . PARATYPE: Two m from the same sample. Type deposition: Holotype (female) and paratype (one m) at the Zoological Museum of Atatürk University , Erzurum, Turkey. One paratype (one m) in the author’s collection .
Diagnosis
Description of female (gure 1A, B). Length of idiosoma (excluding gnathosoma) of holotype 343 m m, width 220 m m, mean length and width of two paratypes 345 (343–347) and 220 (218–223) m m, respectively.
Dorsum (gure 1A). Podonotal setae j5 short and smooth. Marginal setae r1–r3 and r5, r6 delicately barbed. The remaining setae of podonotum plumose. Opisthonotal setae J1–J6 plumose. Setae J6 53 m m apart from one another. Setae Z1–Z4 plumose. Setae Z5 delicately barbed. The distance between setae Z5 and J6 20 m m. Setae S1 similar to Z1. Setae S2–S4 delicately barbed. Setae S3 extend half their length over the margin of opisthonotum. In the marginal row of the opisthonotum, there are eight setae and all setae of this row are short and delicately barbed. Length of, and distance between, opisthonotal setae as follows:
S 1 -19 (18–20) Z 1 -15 J 1 -15

Pores. Pores po1 located posterior to the insertion of setae s1. Pores po2 inside a line connecting setae s2–s3 and shifted towards setae s3. Pores po3 outside a line connecting setae s4–s5. Pores Po1 located anteroparaxially to the insertion of setae Z1. Pores Po2 outside a line connecting setae S1–Z2. Pores Po3 on a line connecting setae Z4–J3 and shifted towards setae Z4. Pores Po4 located posterior to the insertion of setae S4.
Pattern of dorsal integument. The ornamentation of the dorsal shield is shown in gure 1A.
Venter (gure 1B). The chaetotaxy and shape of the peritremal shield are typical for the genus. Adgenital shields and pores gv2 absent. With two setae on the anterior margin of the ventro-anal shield.
A Y nities. P. (Plumatozercon) umidicola sp. nov. is closely related to Prozercon (Plumatozercon) orhani Urhan and Ayyildiz, 1996 , from which it may be distinguished by the following features:
Prozercon (Plumatozercon) orhani
(1) Setae r1–r7 plumose
(2) Setae S2 –S4 plumose
(3) Setae R 1– R 8 plumose
(4) Pores Po2 lie on a line connecting setae Z1–S1
(5) Pores Po3 lie on a line connecting setae Z4–J2
(6) Setae J3 reach the base of J4
P. (Plumatozercon) umidicola sp. n.
(1) Setae r4 and r7 plumose and the remaining setae of this row are delicately
barbed.
(2) Setae S2 –S4 delicately barbed
(3) Setae R 1– R 8 delicately barbed
(4) Pores Po2 lie outside the line connecting setae S1–Z2
(5) Pores Po3 lie on a line connecting setae Z4–J3
(6) Setae J3 not reaching the base of J4
Etymology
