According to Zacarias & Moraes (2001b), dorsal shield of female rugose, 287 (277–298) long and 160 (152–166) wide. Setal lengths: j1 29 (27–31), j3 17 (15–24), j4 7 (7–9), j5 7 (6–8), j6 9 (8–11), J5 7 (6–7), z2 15 (13–18), z4 18 (16–20), z5 7 (6–9), Z1 13 (12–15), Z4 100 (95–104), Z5 117 (112–123), s4 108 (102–117), S5 14 (12–17), r3 31 (24–36) and R1 11 (9–12). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 58 (55–60), st2–st2 62 (60–65), st5–st5 62 (56–63). Ventrianal shield 106 (90–113) long, 61 (58–65) wide at level of Zv2 and 61 (57– 68) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx disc-shaped, 3 (2–4) long; atrium inconspicuous. Fixed cheliceral digit 23 (21–24) long, with seven teeth; movable digit 25 (24–26) long, with two teeth. Macroseta only on tarsus IV, barely noticeable, sharp-tipped, 20 (17–23) .

Distribution in Brazil. São Paulo ( Zacarias & Moraes, 2001b).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil and only known from the type specimens. The presence of a macroseta on tarsus IV was not reported in the original description.
