According to Moraes et al. (2013), dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral reticula, 382–390 long and 252–255 wide. Setal lengths: j1 31, j3 17, j4 5–6, j5 5, j6 6, J5 8, z2 7–8, z4 8–9, z5 5, Z1 8, Z4 140–145, Z5 152–157, s4 120–130, S2 8 –9, S4 9 –10, S5 9 –10, r3 23 and R1 6–8. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 68–69, st2–st2 76, st5–st5 71–72. Ventrianal shield 131–136 long, 100–106 wide at level of Zv2 and 80–86 at anus level. Spermathecal calyx bell-shaped to saccular, 11–13 long; atrium almost inconspicuous. Fixed cheliceral digit 33–34 long, with 15-16 teeth; movable digit 30–32 long, with three teeth. Macrosetae on legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 34–39, SgeII 36–40, SgeIII 39–40, SgeIV 88–90, StiIII 29–33, StiIV 71–75 and StIV 84–92 .

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil and known only from the type specimens.
