One Ƌ syntype with labels: “2 14 Guatemala, M H. d. Sauss.” [handwritten on ruled white card]; “Aphiacustes phalangium Sss. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Phalangium Ƌ Sauss ” [handwritten on foxed white paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Most of the left antenna, the tarsi of the left front leg, the right front leg, the tarsi of the right middle leg and the tarsi of both hind legs are missing. A second specimen in the MHNG is on currently loan. Box A 21 .
