Distribution: Eastern part of Kazakh Uplands, western part of Southern Altai Range, basin of Zaysan Lake, Tarbagatai Range. One more locality was recorded near the border with Russia (Korostelevskaya steppe) ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ).
Habitat: Sandy and clayey saline steppes, hilly sands, damp meadows, fescue-feather grass steppes, sometimes loess soils.
