Variability

The typical robust head ( Fig. 5C View Fig. 5 ) is more pronounced in females than in males, which are generally more slender ( Fig. 1E–F View Fig. 1 ). Interestingly, among the few specimens examined, males were much more rarely collected than females.

Ecology

Collected from April to July, from sea level to montane (exceptionally subalpine) altitudes.
