The D. boholica species-group
Diagnosis. Docleomorpha boholica species-group can be distinguished from violae and zhaoi species-groups by the well-developed, band-like medial stripe on hindwing, the presence of lamella centralis ( sensu Volynkin (2024)), see note below) and the elongated sacculus with its distal section covered with spike-like spines in male genitalia.
Notes. The presence of a long triangular sclerite in the valvula ( Figs 13, 15 View FIGURES 13–15 & 16 View FIGURES 16–20 ) in D. boholica species-group is unique among Chalcosiinae , and currently no term is available for it in the terminology of Chalcosiinae . Therefore we temporarily adopted the term “lamella centralis” from the terminology of Lithosiinae ( sensu Volynkin (2024)) to name it, due to the similar articulation relationship between this sclerite and the distal section of sacculus. However, typical lamella centralis (i.e. figs 14 & 16 in Volynkin (2024)) usually arises from costa, while the sclerite in Docleomorpha arises from the base of valva. Hence the homology of this structure in Docleomorpha requires further studies.
