Remarks: This species is likely to be the opposite sex of Ph. obtusus ( Redtenbacher, 1908) . Although from Northern Venezuela, the ♀ in ANSP matches very well with the types of Ph. satyr .

Distribution: Brazil: Brazil [IRSN, SMTD]. Venezuela: N-Venezuela, Province Carabobo, San Esteban [ANSP].
