Material examined. Democratic Republic of Congo, Inongo (1♀) ; Democratic Republic of Congo, Elisabethville (now Lubumbashi ) 27.I.1951, C. Seydel (1♂) ( RBINS) .
Remarks. Cerci of P. karschiana are incurved, with pointed tip ( Fig. 7G View FIGURE 7 ). The female of this species was first described by Griffini (1908).
Distribution. Described from Tanzania ( Enderlein 1907), later found also in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
