General color dark brown, frons pale brown to brown.

Frons with lateral carinae sinuate; anterior part of face produced, triangular, lateral carinae expands distinctly. Pronotum quadrate, as wide as head, lateral margins parallel; anterior and posterior margins straight; lateral lobe with ventral margin ascending caudad; anterior angle distinct. Tegmen almost cover abdomen ( Fig. 1 A, B, D); tympanum complete.

Female with head short, round; anterior part of frons not produced. Abdomen with lateral margins straight posteriorly, terminal segments broad, not gradually reduced in size. Tegmen minute, triangular; hind wing absent. Ovipositor and cerci of equal lengths. ( Karny, 1907) ( Fig. 1 C)
