Acaulescent. Leaflets 12-17 pairs, oblonglanceolate, sparsely hairy above, more densely so beneath; stipules adnate to petiole for less than | of their length. Scapes 25-35 cm; racemes oblong, dense, with many, erect flowers. Calyx 5-8 mm; corolla purple; standard 15-18 mm, the limb orbicular, abruptly contracted into claw; tooth of keel 1 mm. Legume (1O-)15-2Omm, oblong-ovoid, with short, dense, appressed, black and white hairs. S.E. Russia. Rs (E).
