TYPE LOCALITY: El Salvador, San Miguel Dept., Mt. Cacaguatique, 3500 ft. (1067 m) .

DISTRIBUTION: El Salvador.

COMMENT: This species was included in grandis by Burt and Stirton, 1961, Misc. Publ. Mus. Zool. Univ. Mich., 117:52, but was considered a distinct species by Russell, 1968, Univ. Kans. Publ. Mus. Nat. Hist., 16(6):477-579, and Corbet and Hill, 1980:139. Hall, 1981:509, followed Burt and Stirton, 1961, in including this species in grandis ; Russell, 1968, was not mentioned.
