Diagnosis – Twopairsoflateralcarinaeonprodorsum, dorsallymarked strongerthanventrally. Sensillashort, dilatedmedially. Notogastralsetae short, rigid, exceptfiliformsetae c 3 and p 3.
Aggenitalsetae ag 1 considerablyshorterthansetae ag 2. Onepairof minuteanalsetaeandthreepairsoflongeradanalsetae; distancebetween setae ad 1 and ad 2 islongerthanbetweensetae ad 2 and ad 3; lyrifissures iad situatedlaterallyatlevelof ad 2 setae.
Measurementsofholotype – Ratherlargespecies, prodorsumlength 439, width 343, height 146, sensillum 73, setae: interlamellar 94, lamellar 111, rostral 76; notogaster: length 808, width 586, height 545, setae c 1 83, c 1 / c 1 - d 1 = 0.5, h 1 76, p 1 68; genitalandaggenitalplates 207 × 116, analandadanalplates 404 × 101.
Description – Colourlighttodarkbrown. Bodysurfacefinelyporose.
Prodorsum (Figs 1A, B) withtwopairsoflateralcarinae, dorsallywellmarked, ventrallyweaker, shorterandconvergentinproximalpart. Sensilla (Fig. 1C) rathershort, rigid, smooth, slightlydilatedmedially; interlamellarandrostralsetaeshort, erect, rough; lamellarsetaeprocumbent, filiform; exobothridialsetaevestigial.
Notogaster (Fig. 1E) withshort, rigidsetae, exceptforslightlylongerandfiliform setae c 3 and p 3. Setae c 1 and c 2 remotefromanteriormargin, setae c 3 nearthemargin. Openingofopisthosomalgland, fivelyrifissuresandtwovestigialsetaepresentandpositioned asnormalforthegenus.
Ventralregion (Fig. 1D). Setae h ofmentumconsiderablylongerthandistancebe- tweenthem. Genitalplateswithninepairsofsetae, setae g 1–5 smalleranddistancedfrom setae g 6–9; twopairsofaggenitalsetaepresent, setae ag 1 considerablyshorterthansetae ag 2. Anogenitalcleft trv ratherlong. Onepairofminuteanalsetaeandthreepairsoflonger adanalsetaepresent; distancebetweensetae ad 1 and ad 2 longerthanbetweensetae ad 2 and ad 3. Lyrifissures iad situatedlaterallyatthelevelofsetae ad 2.

Comparison – Thenewspeciesischaracterisedbythepresenceoflat- eralcarinae, whicharedorsallywellmarked, ventrallyweaker, shorter, and convergentinproximalpart; theaggenitalsetae ag 1 areconsiderablyshorter thansetae ag 2 andthelyrifissures iad aresituatedlaterallyatthelevelof ad 2 setae. Theclosestrelated Oribotritiastriata Mahunka, 2009 hasgotasimilar constructionoflateralcarinae, shapeandlengthofprodorsalandnotogastral setae, presenceofonepairofanalandthreepairsofadanalsetaebutisdistinguishablebythelongitudinalstriationontheprodorsumandnotogaster, presenceofthreepairsofaggenitalsetaeandthelyrifissures iad aresituated laterallyandposteriorlyof ad 2 setae.
