Diagnosis. See under the nominate subspecies.
Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou).
Remarks. Chu & Wang (1987) described three species O. fusca , O. unichroma and O. zigzaga . The types of the former two species and some paratypes of the third species are almost identical to O. pavaca sinensis , with only small differences in the length of the forked processes of the sacculus, which can be regarded as variation within the subspecies. Since the type localities of O. fusca and O. unichroma are in the distribution area of O. pavaca sinensis , we refer them to O. pavaca sinensis . O. unilinea in Chu & Wang (1987, 1991), from Mt. Emei and Fujian, is a misidentification of O. pavaca sinensis . One paratype of O. asignis (from Sangang, Fujian) has also proved to be this subspecies.
