DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mwinilunga in Northwestern Province ; Kafue and Lusaka in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): The African Moths (2019) Webpage lists the following as larval foodplants of the taxon: the Stilbaceae species speces, Halleria lucida L.; the Oleaceae species, Ligustrum lucidum W.T.Aiton ; the Bignoniaceae species, Podranea brycei (N.E.Br.) Sprague ; the Verbenaceae species, Lantana camara L.; the Solanaceae species, Nicotiana tabacum L. and; the Pinaceae species, Pinus radiata D.Don.
