Pygmy Poacher. To 15 cm (5.9 in) SL, about 17 cm (7 in) TL ( City of San Diego 2020). Prince William Sound, northern Gulf of Alaska (Mecklenburg et al. 2002) to Laguna Guerrero Negro, central Baja California, including Isla de Cedros, central Baja California ( Miller and Lea 1972). One possible record from south-eastern Bering Sea, but voucher specimen has been lost (Mecklenburg et al. 2002). Benthic; depth: 5–373 m (16–1,224 ft) (min.: Mecklenburg et al. 2002; max.: Gilbert 1896).
