D i s t r i b u t i o n: Japan ( SHIBATA 1983; SMETANA 2004), and Taiwan [ SHIBATA 1973 and BORDONI 2002, (sub N. formosanus SHIBATA 1973 ); BORDONI 2010, sub N. sejunctus ]. Recently I have proposed (BORDONI 2010) the synonymy between N.

sejunctus and N. formosanus . Taiwan is the south-eastern limit of distribution of the genus in the Oriental Region.
