Material. 10: 1♀, Les Riceys, 29.vi.1868, Jourdheuille; 17: 1♂, SaintPalaissurMer, 24.vii.1938, Le Marchand ( MNHN); 57 : 14♂, 9♀, TM , Apach: Hammersberg, 220–280 m, 1.x.2004, Agrimonia eupatoria , e.l. 29.vi.2005, EvN.
Remarks. Excluded records were based on specimens collected as adults, for which misidentification is more likely than for mines. We assume that records of mines are correct because they usually are easily recognised by the larva spinning its cocoon inside the mine. Until now we assumed that this species was univoltine with autumn larvae, but several records of larvae in July with adults emerging in August ( Brown & Gouin 1917) indicate that it is probably bivoltine.
