Diagnosis: Wing expanse 23mm. Forewings whitish to yellow brown, heavily mottled with various shades of fuscous; basal 2/3 of wing dull yellow brown, with 3 dark fuscous spots along costa, distal 1/3 of wing whitish, almost without brown spots. Hindwings whitish to yellow brown, basal 2/3 yellow brown, distal 1/3 whitish, with brown spots along terminal of vein. Male genitalia: Gnathos slender uncinate; tegumenal lobes long and compressed; Vinculum with a broad compressed basal lobe, broad apically; lateroposterior process of anellus deeply forked, one branch acute, and another rough apically; parameres rather lengthened, densely covered with cilia ventrally.
This species is relatively larger than the other members in size, expanse 23 mm. The distal of the 1/3 margin of hindwings almost without brown spots, and the male genitalia with unique spicate parameres and aciculate lateroposterior process of anellus.
Material examined. Mangshan Mt. (Gui Zizhai), Hunan Province, China, 2 males, 20-VI-2003, Min WANG leg.
Bionomics. Moths were attracted by a light trap at one hour after the twilight.
Distribution. China (Omei Mt., Sichuan Province; Mangshan Mt., Hunan Province).
