Description. FEMALE. Body length (without rostrum) 5.1 mm. Rostrum length 1.0 mm. Body blackbrownish, cowered with dense plumose light scales forming spots and stripes. Head conical. Rostrum almost straight, 2.1 times as long as wide at apex, 2.2 times as long as wide in middle and 2.1 times as long as wide at base, about 0.5 times as long as pronotum. Back of rostrum weakly flattened, densely punctate, without carina. Mandibles quite small. Eyes large, suboval, transverse, not protruding from contour of head, distinctly separated. Anterior margins of eyes not emarginate. Forehead flattened, quite narrow, about 0.3 times as long as rostrum base width. Temples equal in length to eye. Antennal scrobes laterally, oblique, directed to eye, visible dorsally in first third. Antennae long, inserted before apical third of rostrum. Antennomere 1 long, 5.5 times as long as wide at apex, reaching eyes. Antennomeres 2 and 3 long-conical. Antennomere 2 subequal in length and wide at apex, about 0.2 times as long as and slightly wider than antennomere 1. Antennomere 3 1.2 times as long as wide at apex, 0.8 times as long as and 0.7 times as narrow as antennomere 2. Antennomeres 4–8 short-conical. Antennomere 4 0.6 times as long as wide at apex, about 0.5 times as long as and slightly narrower than antennomere 3. Antennomere 5 0.9 times as long as wide at apex, slightly longer and narrower than antennomere 4. Antennomere 6 0.7 times as long as wide at apex, 0.8 times as long as and equal in width to antennomere 5. Antennomere 7 0.8 times as long as wide at apex, 1.4 times as long as and 1.2 times as wide as antennomere 6. Antennomere 8 0.9 times as long as wide at apex, 1.4 times as long as and 1.3 times as wide as antennomere 7. Antennal club compact, 2.2 times as long as wide in middle. Pronotum subsquare, 1.6 times as long as wide at apex, 0.9 times as long as wide in middle and subequal to wide at base. Anterior collar present. Disk distinctly convex, densely and coarsely punctate. Distances between points narrower than diameter of points. Lateral margins convex. Base semicircular. Scutellum distinct, rectangular, transverse, 0.8 times as long as wide in middle. Elytra 1.3 times as long as wide at base, 1.2 times as long as wide in middle, 1.5 times as long as wide at apex, 1.6 times as long as pronotum, subparallel, narrowed at apical fourth. Humeri smooth. Interstriae wide, 7.3–8.0 times as long as wide of striae, weakly convex, with small protuberances. Elytral striae distinct, deep. Striae 9 not merge with striae 10 near metacoxa. Prosternum with weak postocular lobes. Precoxal portion about 0.3 times as long as procoxal cavity length. Postcoxal portion about 0.6 times as long as precoxal portion. Procoxal cavities widely separated. Metanepisternum wide. Mesocoxal cavities separated. Metaventrite convex, densely punctate, 2.3 times as long as length of metacoxal cavity. Abdomen convex, finely puncate. Ventrites 1 and 2 long, fused, weakly flattened in middle. Ventrite 1 about 1.6 times as long as length of metacoxal cavity. Ventrite 2 slightly shorter than ventrite 1. Ventrite 3 0.5 times as long as ventrite 2. Ventrite 4 slightly shorter than ventrite 3. Ventrite 5 1.3 times as long as ventrite 4, with middle transverse row of points, without anal setae. Procoxae large, subspherical. Femora and tibiae coarsely punctate. Femora thickened, with large teeth on middle. Tibiae weakly curved, with large uncus, mucro and two groups of setae at apex. Meso- and metatibiae with oblique apical comb of setae. Tarsi long. Tarsomeres 1 and 2 conical. Tarsomere 2 shorter and wider than tarsomere 1. Tarsomere 3 wide-bilobed. Tarsomere 5 elongate. Tarsal claws free, paired, of equal lengths, without teeth.
Differential diagnosis. The new species differs from N. luzonensis Legalov, 2020 from Luzon (fig. 3) in the larger body sizes, yellow scales forming spots on the body, coarse sculpture of the pronotum and elytra.
Etymology. From Mindanao.
Localisation. Philippines, Mindanao (Davao Del Sur Province) (fig. 3).
