Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi,); Vietnam.
Remarks. Though this species is similar to N. rotundatus in having the cloudy median transverse bands of both wings ( Tjeder, 1937), it may be distinguished by the strongly modified aedeagus with a pair of short subapical processes. The female wings are much larger than the male. After careful examination of the types of N. furcatus Yang & Yang , there is no significant difference from N. umbratus . Therefore, N. furcatus is herein designated as a synonym of N. umbratus .
