Material. Spain, Andalusia, Jaén province, Siles, Sima de los 30 años (38º21′20.20″N, 2º35′47.12″W; 1383 m.a.s.l.), 31.V.2009, 1 ♂, lgt. G.E.V. (DEUA).
Diagnosis. Weakly troglomorphic. Two pairs of well developed eyes. Carapace with 32–37 setae, 7–8 on anterior margin and 11–13 on posterior; epistome triangular and prominent. Tergites I–IV with 8:12:16:18 setae. Spinneret low, prominent. Pedipalp femur ratio 6.3–6.4, femur about same length as movable finger; chela+ ratio 4.9–5.1; ratio hand+ 2.3, widest at the basal half; ratio movable finger/hand+ 1.3; teeth of movable finger hardly recognizable in the basal half; trichobothrium ist distinctly distad of middle of finger.
Description. Large Ommatoblothrus . Opisthosoma elongate, weak troglomorphic facies. Opisthosoma and legs yellowish. Carapace, chelicerae and pedipalps reddish brown.
Carapace longer than broad. Two pairs of well developed eyes with lens and reflective tapetum. Epistome acute, isosceles triangle shape. 37 setae, formula 7:6:13:11. Two microlyrifissures in ocular zone, four between median and posterior zones.
Anterior process of coxa I with simple tooth shape, long and apically pointed; medial process slightly elevated and with numerous denticles. Pedipalpal coxa with 11 setae (including 3–4 on process), pedal coxa I with 10– 12, II 12, III 14, IV 20.
Tergal chaetotaxy I–X: 8:12:16:18:20:19:18:18:16:12. Male genital area with 11 short setae on sternite II; sternite III with 17 setae behind genital opening and (3)24(3) setae on the posterior margin of the sternite. Chaetotaxy of sternites IV–X: (3)22(3):30:28:25:27:24:18. Anal cone with two dorsal and two ventral setae.
Cheliceral palm with 8–9 setae; seta gl 0.71 from base of movable finger. Spinneret a low, prominent, sclerotic dome. Fixed finger with 12 medium- or small-sized teeth; movable finger with 7 worn teeth on a short lamina, two large, blunt, fused medial teeth, others medium-sized or small, dental row ending far proximad of subgaleal seta. Rallum with 8 blades, all smooth or worn, except distal one unilaterally pinnate on anterior face, latter on a raised lamina and distinctly separated from other blades, basal blade very small. Serrula exterior with 32 and serrula interior with 31 blades.
Pedipalps completely smooth. Trochanter with a strong tubercle. Femur with one tiny tubercle in middle of antiaxial face, one distal glandular pore present. Patella pedicel with four micropores at base. Chela markedly curved, hand oval, maximum width in basal third; pedicel bearing five dorsal micropores; antiaxial face with three glandular pores close to finger base. Fixed finger with 97 teeth, dental row reaching finger base; nodus ramosus short, at level of 5th distal tooth; trichobothrium it slightly distad of et; trichobothrium ist markedly closer to apex of finger than to base; trichobothrium ib close to isb; distance between trichobothria ib and ist 1.7 times that between ist and apex. Movable finger with 76 teeth, dental row ending distad of trichobothrium b, 16 pointed teeth distad of t, followed by 19 rounded teeth reaching, to level of st, and 41 flat teeth, of which the 27 proximal ones are so rudimentary that they can only be recognized by their dental canals; distance between trichobothria sb and st 1.3 times that between sb and b.
Leg IV claws with a very tiny dorsal tooth proximad of middle, subterminal setae with two rami, total length 0.115 mm, larger ramus 0.053 mm, shorter one 0.035 mm, both with tiny spines. Tibia TS 0.45, basitarsus TS 0.11, telotarsus TS 0.41.
Measurements and ratios. Body 4.93. Carapace 1.09/0.90 (1.2). Chelicera: palm 0.69/0.36 (1.9), movable finger 0.43. Pedipalp: trochanter 0.70/0.29 (2.4); femur 1.72/0.27 (6.4); patella 1.10/0.29 (3.8), pedicel 0.34, club 0.76 (2.6), ratio club/pedicel 2.2; chela+ 2.84/0.56 (5.1), chela - 2.72 (4.9); hand+ 1.28 (2.3), hand - 1.16 (2.1); movable finger 1.66; ratio movable finger/hand+ 1.3; ratio chela+/carapace 2.6; femur/carapace 1.6; femur/movable finger 1.0; femur/patella 1.6; patella/ hand+ 0.9. Leg IV: femur+patella 1.48/0.31 (4.8); tibia 1.32/0.16 (8.3); basitarsus 0.69/0.12 (6.0); telotarsus 0.71/0.10 (6.8); ratio telotarsus/basitarsus 1.0.
Distribution. Andalusia, Spain.
Remarks. This species shares with Neobisium (O.) paucedentatum Mahnert, 1982 ( Granada province) (Mahnert 1982) and Neobisium (O.) baenai Carabajal Márquez, García Carrillo & Rodríguez Fernández, 2011, (Córdoba province) (Carabajal Márquez et al. 2011) the increased chaetotaxy of the carapace, tergites and sternites, and the strongly reduced size of teeth in the basal half of the movable chelal finger.
